Biography

The Musician

Jacob is an Austin, Texas Native that has been professionally playing music from a very young age. Jacob is a multi-talented musician with a focus on Guitar, Drums, Bass, and Vocals, and is on a dedicated lifelong journey to perfecting his crafts. Jacob took up the drums at age 4 studying with many local legends, and began learning several styles of guitar along with music theory at age 7 - he as well has spent the last several years as both student, and teacher of piano and vocal performance.

Jacob has toured and played with many successful bands and artists including: New York artist Kelly Monrow, New West Records artist PJ Western, Nashville recording artist Rick Trevino, Los Angeles/Nashville song writer/artist Jeffery David Goldford (Aka "Goldford"), Teen pop icon Madison McWilliams, guitar phenomenon Monte Montgomery, Country recording artist Deanna Wheeler, Vallejo, Kendall Beard (American Idol), Danilo, Matt Kreutz, Derrick Davis Band, James Speer, Hallow, True Penny, LA based band 23 Shades, and currently is with Texas country star Bart Crow, along with many other artists. Jacob as well has been a music director in churches for many years leading and orchestrating music and bands of all kinds.

The Producer

For almost 15 years now Jacob has also had extensive experience in the studio as both producer and musician. He has worked with names of producers and engineers such as Jim Gaines, Tim Palmer, David Boyle, Kelly Donnelly, Nick Jay and Lang Freeman. Jacob has also done commercial work producing and composing tracks for reputable names such as MTV, Rocksmith, and various sports teams (both professional and college). Jacob continues to be in demand of his studio craft producing and playing with artists, as well as composing film scores and commercial music.

Jacob

The past several years Jacob has been on a journey to share his love of music with the Austin community and the world. Taking trips to Uganda Africa, he has worked closely with the African Children’s Choir and with various non profit organizations both locally and internationally.
